Middletown Fiscal 2021 Proposed Budget

Proposed Budget FY2021 submitted, available online now

MIDDLETOWN, MA — The Middletown town administrator has submitted the proposed budget ordinance to the town clerk by the June 15 deadline. This document, available on the town website, summarizes anticipated revenues and expenses for the town’s four major funds. Later this month, town officials will release the annual budget book consisting of nearly 300 pages of information which provides additional details for the proposed ordinance.

The budget book is an annual document that reflects guidelines established by the National Advisory Council on State and Local Budgeting and the Government Finance Officers Association best practices on budgeting.

The budget book will be available by the end of June as the Town Council prepares for its public hearings. The dates for the public hearings will be announced shortly.
