Teens Arrested for Car Break-ins
The following accounts were taken from reports provided by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested Friday around 3:00 a.m. for allegedly breaking into cars. A resident called police to report the teenagers broke into a car on Green End Avenue. Police found several items in the teenager’s backpacks that they could not explain such as a digital camera, phone charger, cell phone case, sunglasses and a radar detector. Both teens were charged with three counts of larceny under $1500.
Other Arrests
- Sean Hackbarth, 24, of 9 Birchwood Drive, Portsmouth, was arrested Saturday around 11 p.m. on a bench warrant charge.Â
- Joao Monteiro, 50, of 19 Darrow St. Apt. #1, Pawtucket was arrested Saturday around 4:49 p.m. on charges of being a fugitive from justice. Police arrived to Pebbly Beach with a warrant service. He was wanted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for failure to redeliver hired or leased property.
- Morgan Gilliland, 18, of 70 Holly Circle, Tiverton, was arrested Sunday around 6:55 p.m. on a disorderly conduct charge. Â Police said they responded to Chases Lane for a report of a verbal argument between Gilliland and a man. Gillilan allegedly swore and yelled at the responding officer.
- Jennifer Aguiar, 23, of 11 Buck Road, Apt. #A, was arrested Sunday around 7:50 p.m. on charges of domestic simple assault.Â
