MPD: Rummaging Through Car, Assaults
The following arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

- A 16-year-old Middletown boy was arrested on Thursday around 1:46 a.m. after he allegedly rummaged through a car on Center Avenue.  The victim said he did not take anything from the car.  Police charged him with tampering with vehicles. Â
- Jose Torres, 21, of 30 West Evans Street, Newport, was arrested on Monday around 10 p.m. on charges of domestic assault. Â He allegedly pushed a female. Â
- Aaron Wilson, 35, of 11B Ludlow Road, was arrested on Monday around 4 p.m. on charges of simple assault.  He allegedly went over to his neighbor’s house to threaten her into dropping a lawsuit against their landlord.  She told police he went into the refrigerator, took a beer and sat on her couch.  He allegedly made sexually inappropriate and violent comments and threatened to "rape" her. Â
- Nathan Lima, 22, of 407 East Main Road, was arrested on Sunday around 11:28 p.m. on a domestic assault charge. He allegedly struck a 24-year-old Middletown woman in her throat during an argument. Â
