Naval Station Newport: 'Keep Our Colleagues...In Your Prayers'

Naval Station Newport posted the following status on its Facebook page Monday after the shooting Monday in the U.S. Naval Yard in Washington, DC. 

Naval Station Newport officials say they've received numerous phone calls and e-mails about security at the Newport base. According to the Facebook post, the "threat is unchanged." 

The Newport Naval Station also asks individuals to "Please keep our colleagues at the Navy Yard in your prayers as details of this tragedy continues to come out."
