When Is the First Day of School in Middletown?
Middletown has one of the latest start dates for the 2013-14 school year: Sept. 5.
Students in the Middletown School District are scheduled to start the 2013-14 school year on Sept. 5, among the latest in Rhode Island.
[According to the Rhode Island Department of Education, Newport and Scituate are also set to start on Sept. 5. Only East Providence, on Sept. 6, starts its school year later.]
According to information posted on the district's website, teacher in-service days are scheduled for Sept. 3 and 4.
