5 THINGS: Business, Acting and School (Committee)

It's the day before Thanksgiving, so please – celebrate the birth of the phonograph.

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Wednesday, November 21, 2012:

“Business – After Hours.” That’s not the name of a hot new procedural from CBS. It’s the Southern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce’s program at Casey’s at 5 p.m. The cost is $5, and please RSVP if you can.

“You need three things in theater – the play, the actors and the audience – and each must give something.” – Kenneth Haigh. The Contemporary Theater Company has its weekly acting classes at 5 p.m. The cost is $10, but your first session is free!

School (committee) is not out for Thanksgiving. The Narragansett School Committee meets at 7 p.m. at town hall.

Hey, I’m back from vacation! Yes, I’m fully back this week… Well, except that Thursday and Friday are vacation days as well. But still, it’s more like “business as usual” as compared to last week.
