5 THINGS: Prout Has New 1,000 Point Scorer

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Saturday, December 22, 2012:

Prout’s Eric Rameika joins 1,000-point club with Crusaders’ 61-46 win against Lincoln at home. Rameika, a senior and captain of the team, finished with 15 points, giving him 1,005 for his career. The win improved Prout’s record to 4-2 overall, and 3-1 in Division II play. Candlelight vigil Sunday for Newtown. The vigil will be held in Memorial Square by Ocean Road at 4:30 p.m. For more info, click here.

Don’t stay home for Home for the Holidays. The Courthouse Center for the Arts presents Home for the Holidays at 7 p.m. today. There are also 4 p.m. matinees today and tomorrow. Admission is free, but first-come, first served.

Skating! – Ice Skating! There is a public skate session at the Boss Ice Arena at 2 p.m. For more information and rates, click here.
