Work on your backhand, your serve, your smashing at the net… There is drop-in tennis at the courts at Broad Rock Middle School starting at 9 a.m. The cost is just $3.

What delicious produce! The Cross Mills farmers’ market meets at 9 a.m. on Old Post Road in Charlestown. The South Kingstown and URI farmers’ market meets at 8:30 a.m. at East Farm.
Prepare for Christmas, wicked early. Waves of Creation is hosting an ornament painting day starting at 11 a.m. The cost is $2.25.

“A pox o’ your throat, you bawling, blasphemous, incharitable dog!” – The Bard. The Contemporary Theater Company puts on The Tempest tonight. Tickets are $20, and the show is at 7 p.m.
Dosey doe, maybe? Some English country dancing will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the South Kingstown Land Trust Barn.
A titanic tribute to the Titanic. The URI symphony orchestra puts on the “Titanic Tribute” at 8 p.m. Admission is $10.

- There is a Halloween gallery night at Silver Tides Jewelry on Boon Street at 6 p.m.
- The Pettaquamscutt Historical Society presents “The Haunts of Little Rest Hill” at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $15.
Oh no! Maybe there seriously aren’t that many events today, given that it’s World Day for Audiovisual Heritage. As a result, our events calendar for today is a bit barren.
