Radical Reels Film Festival at URI (and 4 More Things)

    Radical Reels 2013: Tonight at 7 p.m., sponsors Denali and Merrell will host The 2013 Radical Reels Tour in Edwards Auditorium at the URI. The tour, now in its tenth year, features adrenaline-packed films that showcase more than half a dozen wild action sports as seen through the eyes of today's top athletes and adventure sport filmmakers. Tickets are $15 per person.     Gansett School Committee: At 7 p.m. this evening, the Narragansett School Committee will hold a meeting at Town Hall (15 Fifth Ave.). Topics to be discussed include an introduction of new staff, school reports, purchase of a school bus and more. Click here to view tonight's agenda.

    Guided Full Moon Tours: Tonight and tomorrow at 5:30 p.m., Narrow River Kayaks is offering Guided Full Moon Paddles for $59 per adult and $29 per child age 11 and under.     Ballroom Dance Lessons: Tonight and each Wednesday evening year-round, The Towers in Narragansett offers ballroom dance lessons led by instructors Sara Barker and Sue Davis. Ballroom lessons are held at 6 and 7 p.m., Tango at 8 p.m., followed by an open practice for all from 9-10:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person for Ballroom or Tango, or $22 per person for a full evening. Click here for more information.
