Courthouse Acting Class: After a successful August, C.O.R.E. A.C.T.I.N.G. returns to the Courthouse Center for the Arts (3481 Kingstown Rd., West Kingston) with classes on Tuesday nights in September (Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 24), from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This workshop led by Mike Messier is for all levels, ages 15 and up and is perfect for new actors and experienced actors alike. Class fee is $100 for all four classes. Participants may register at tonight's first class or take classes on an individual basis at$40 per class. SK Farmers' Market: Skip the grocery store tonight and pick up some fresh fruits, veggies and baked goods at South Kingstown's outdoor Farmers' Market at Marina Park! From 2-6 p.m. each Tuesday through October, the Park will host the community market that also offers plants, handmade handbags and more. Click here for more information and to view a list of featured vendors.
Plan Ahead - Soccer Clinic: While school is out in observance of Rosh Hashanah on Thursday, Sept. 5, RI Premier Soccer will host a 1-day soccer skills clinic for players U6 to U14 at Brousseau Park (208 Succotash Rd, South Kingstown) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Coaching staff will provide technical instruction with particular focus on 1v1 moves and footskills,  fun challenges and small-sided games. $25 per player.
