Bike MS: Ride the Rhode this Weekend

The "Ride the Rhode" ride supports Rhode Islanders with MS and research efforts to find a cure.

SOUTH COUNTY, RI—Hundreds of bicyclists will take part in a 150-mile bike ride through southern Rhode Island to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society this weekend.

People can still register to ride along with other cyclists embarking on 35-, 75- or 100-mile routes that begin at the Keaney Gym at the University of Rhode Island on Saturday morning and ends at URI with a food and beer garden awaits. After an overnight camp, most riders go on a different 75 mile route to complete their journey.

The ride is organized by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with a goal of raising $530,000 to help people with multiple sclerosis.
