Dorothy C. Highling, Loving Mother of Five, Dies at 84

Dorothy C. Highling (Currie), 84, of Wakefield, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. She was the wife of the late Roy N. Highling. Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Beatrice (Schuller) Currie. 

She is survived by her children, Sharon Geary and her husband Frederick of West Warwick, Bradley Highling and his wife Sharon Wallace of Wickford, Teri Woodbine of Wakefield, Stacy Martini of Narragansett and Cindy Highling of North Kingstown; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Currie. 

Relatives and friends attended a committal service on Monday, August 26, at the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 143 Main St., Wakefield, RI 02879 or VNS Home Health Services, 14 Woodruff Ave., Unit 7, Narragansett, RI 02882 would be appreciated.
