Brown University unveiled a new, three-pronged initiative to increase access and financial aid. Students coming from certain moderate-income families will receive full tuition, while low-income students will have all expenses, including books, fees and room and board, fully covered.
The university will also launch a program to increase college readiness among Providence students.

The Good Eats master himself was in Providence Tuesday ahead of his one-night-only Beyond The Eats show at the Providence Performing Arts Center. After asking the Twitterverse where to find the best cup of coffee milk in the area, Brown and his wife visited Dave's Coffee in Providence for a cup of Rhode Island's favorite sweet drink.
