High Seas Cancel Ferries To Block Island
While two morning trips continued as scheduled, all other trips were canceled due to high seas.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — A rare October nor'easter taking aim at southern New England, kicking up high seas, heavy winds and bringing the potential for localized flooding. On Tuesday, all afternoon and evening trips on the Block Island ferry were canceled due to the dangerous conditions.
The 9 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. trips were the only ones unaffected on Tuesday. All other trips were canceled.
Service Alert for Tuesday, October 26th. The 9am departure from Pt. Judith and the 8:15am & 11:45am departure from Block Island are running on schedule. All other ferries are cancelled for today due to adverse sea conditions. https://t.co/FASmJlGbCk
