According to police, one woman said that on the ride home from the bar, Gray continually yelled at her and the woman. The woman then had to drive Gray home because he was too intoxicated to drive.
Police said that the victim came home while they were interviewing her friends. Police said that while speaking with her outside, she told them Gray had thrown a drink in her face, but she denied that he hit her.
According to police, they spoke to her inside of her home in an attempt to get a formal statement. However, police said that at that point, Joseph Blainey, 23, told the victim she didn’t have to complete any statement.
Police said the victim then refused to cooperate. Blainey also didn’t provide a statement. Police noted that he was at the bar with the victim, her friends and Gray.
According to Narragansett police, South Kingstown police notified Gray that he was facing charges in Narragansett. A family member drove Gray to police headquarters, where he was formally arrested and held for arraignment at Fourth Division District Court at 9 a.m.

Woman Cited for Punch Outside Charlie O’s

According to police, while monitoring the nightly close of Charlie O’s, they saw Adams hit a man in the face.
Police said when they asked Adams why she had struck the man, she told them, “Because he was talking **** to my boyfriend and I lost my temper.”
The victim told police that the incident was a misunderstanding, and that he was not talking to Adams’ boyfriend. He told police he did not wish to press charges for assault, and as a result, Adams was just cited for disorderly conduct instead.
