According to police, they received a report of a domestic assault in progress at a Mooresfield Road home. Police said that when they arrived, the victim had left, and Koza was “visibly agitated.”

Police said that as a result, they placed Koza in handcuffs pending further investigation. Police said that a witness at the scene – not the victim – told them that Koza was in the driver’s seat of the victim’s car at one point, trying to drive away with the victim hanging on to the door.

The witness, a friend of Koza’s, told police that Koza then got out of the car and pushed the victim, at which point he interceded by tackling Koza, allowing the woman to get away.

Police said an interview with the victim confirmed the man’s story, and an examination of her car revealed damage to the door.

As a result, Koza was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct and vandalism, all three with domestic modifiers. He was held overnight for arraignment on the morning of March 19.

Richmond Man Arrested for Warrant, License Violation

Bradley Beauregard, 25, of 332 Conochet Road, Hopkinton, was arrested at about 7:40 a.m. on March 20 and charged with driving with a suspended license. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for his arrest as well.

According to police, they received a report of a single car accident in the 1700-section of Kingstown Road at about 7:11 a.m. Police said the operator – Beauregard – was transported to South County Hospital for treatment.

Police said a background check revealed Beauregard’s license was suspended in October 2011, and a warrant was out for his arrest as well. Police said Beauregard was arrested without incident after treatment at the hospital.
