South Kingstown Man Charged With Domestic Assault
Paul Goscinski, 55, of 205 Kettle Pond Drive, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 30 and charged with domestic assault.

According to police, a woman told police that Goscinski was heavily intoxicated and had slapped her. The woman also told police that he was unstable and had access to firearms.
As a result, police said they told Goscinski to lay face down on the ground. When he refused, officers took him to the ground and arrested him. Because of the arrest, 14 firearms – rifles and handguns – were seized from Goscinski’s home, along with two bows.

Goscinski was charged, processed at headquarters and then released at about 8:28 p.m.
Cranston Man Charged With Violating No-Contact Order
Daniel Dunlop, 25, of 170 Bartlett Ave., Cranston, was arrested at about 7:37 p.m. on Oct. 29 and charged with violating a no-contact order.
According to police, they received a report of a disturbance on Main Street. A caller said that a man – Dunlop – had a severe wound on his face.
Police said they located Dunlop, who did have a laceration on his eyebrow and blood stains on his clothing. Police said that when interviewing Dunlop, he said he was in the area visiting an ex-girlfriend, and that someone had punched him in the face in a friendly interaction.
According to police, a background check revealed that the ex-girlfriend had a no-contact order enacted between her and Dunlop on Oct. 25. As a result, Dunlop was arrested without incident. Police noted that he was extremely intoxicated, and that he was treated at South County Hospital for his facial injury.
