This Weekend: Rhythm & Roots, White Castle 'Bob' and More
Here are just a handful of ideas to kickstart your weekend planning.

Gansett Summer Concert: Friday at 6 p.m., Narragansett Beach’s Casino Park (25 Ocean Rd.) will feature its final free concert of the season at the gazebo. Thursday night's act is the "Black Tie Band"who will perform classic pop, rock and contemporary hits that spectators of all ages can enjoy!Â
Rhythm and Roots: Friday at 3 p.m., the 16th annual Rhythm and Roots Festival begins at Ninigret Park in Charlestown and will continue through Saturday and Sunday! The event boasts five performance stages, dance workshops, and a host of family activities that are included in the price of admission. Comedy at the Contemporary: At 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, The Contemporary Theater (327 Main St., Wakefield) will host a performance of "Bob" by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, which tells the story of Bob, the quintessential American man who was born in a White Castle and destined for great things. "This heart-warming play is both hilarious and deeply moving as Bob's life unfolds onstage." Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased byclicking here to visit the Theater's website.

Tunes at Trio: On Sunday, Sept. 1 from 4-7 p.m., enjoy live music from local 2-piece band, Steve Deconti on the patio at Trio (15 Kingstown Rd., Narragansett). No cover.Â
