Final Outdoor Concert by Lafayette Band is Wednesday
If you haven't enjoyed music on the town beach yet this summer, don't miss this chance.
The Lafayette Band of North Kingstown will present its final free outdoor concert of the season on Wed., August 3, at 7 p.m. at the Lafayette Band Stand at North Kingstown Town Beach, 15 Beach St. The band is led by conductor Bethany Clarke-Bromley.
Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. In case of rain, the concert will be held inside the North Kingstown Community Center at the Town Beach.
The Lafayette Band is a nonprofit community concert band with a mission to strengthen North Kingstown and surrounding communities through music. Founded 130 years ago, it is one of the oldest bands in Rhode Island. Though based in North Kingstown, the band’s members reside in many communities in Southeast New England.
