Man Found Dead in in NK Parking Lot

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI-North Kingstown police are investigating the discovery of a body found in a parking lot off Old Baptist Road on Sunday.

Police are not releasing many details, but said in a press release on Tuesday that the deceased was a 47-year-old white man who was found lying in the rear lot at 272 Old Baptist Road.

The man’s identity is not being released until family members are formally notified.

Police said foul play is not suspected at this time. The death appears to be an apparent overdose, police said, but the final determination has not been made.
