Networking at Noon: Network at Noon happens the second Thursday of each month. It’s a unique and relaxed networking opportunity in which each guest has a chance to strategically connect with a diverse group of business professionals including key decision-makers in our community over lunch. At the Quonset "O" Club, 200 Lt. James Brown Road. From noon to 1:30 p.m.

Storytime: Storytime at the Davisville Free Library is held Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m.

Abstract/Avant Garde Exhibit: The Wickford Art Association is doing an Abstract/Avant Garde show that will run from Oct. 11 through Oct. 27. The opening reception is on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.; it is open to the public and refreshments will be served. The gallery is open every day except Mondays. Skipper Home Games: Girls Field Hockey versus Tiverton, Varsity at 4 p.m., JV at 5:15; Girls Soccer against East Greenwich, JV at 5 p.m., Varsity at 7; Boys Freshman Football against Cranston East at 4 p.m.; Girls Varsity Tennis against Mt. Saint Charles at 3:30 p.m. On Friday, the Varsity Football team takes on Cumberland at 7.
