North Kingstown Man Dies in Scituate Crash
The accident happened on Hartford Pike in Scituate Wednesday night.

SCITUATE, RI—A local man has died after a crash on Hartford Pike in Scituate Wednesday night.
Police said Kenneth Pickering, 62, died from injuries he sustained in the three-car crash that happened at around 10:30 p.m.
According to police, Pickering crashed into a Jeep and was then struck by another car.

The driver of the Jeep, identified by police as a 41-year-old Foster man; and the 52-year-old driver of the vehicle that struck Pickering’s car were both transported to Rhode Island Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.

Pickering was a respected business coach, a former marketing executive with Polaroid Corporation and the former president and COO of Foster Corporation, a Connecticut-based supplier of specialty materials for medical device companies.
Pickering leaves behind a wife, three children and six grandchildren.
