Obituary: Dorothy A. Hoxsie, 84, Worked at Dunes Club for 23 Years

Dorothy A. Hoxsie (Christoffersen), 84, of Duck Cove Road, died July 5, 2016. She was the wife of the late George A. Hoxsie for thirty-six years.

Born in Rockland, ME, she was a daughter of the late Carl A. and Dorothy R. (Mank) Christoffersen.Mrs. Hoxsie worked at the Dune's Club for twenty-three years before retiring.

She leaves a step-son, Paul Hoxsie and his wife Claudia; a step-daughter, Barbara Reardon and her husband Edward; two sisters, Elaine Benson and Sylvia Hawkins; three granddaughters, Jessica Duffy, Erica Cabot and Jillian Barker; two grandsons, Michael Hoxsie and James Reardon; and eight great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Deborah A. Williams.

Her funeral and burial will be private in Union, ME.
