Obituary: Gillian E. Jessop, 71, Bartender

Gillian E. Jessop (Menzies), 71, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of Ronald A. Jessop.Born in Bristol, England, she was the daughter of the late John and Esme (Thomas) Menzies.Gillian was a bartender at Rose Hill Golf Club, Gillian's Ale House and the former Irish Pub before retiring.

She leaves two daughters, Chantel Campbell-Goutcher and her husband Jeff Goutcher of St. Augustine, FL and Tanya Baldwin of North Kingstown; two step-children, Ronnie Jessop, Jr. of ID and Shay Waltermire of WA; a brother, John Menzies and his wife Helen of Jasper, GA; four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason, Gillian and Gianna; four step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Katie, Karissa and Jackson; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the step-grandmother of the late Grace Goutcher.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 10 am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Visiting hours will be on Friday, June 17th from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island will be appreciated.
