Obituary: Linda E. Bruno, 70

Linda E. Bruno, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 24. She was the former wife of Peter J. Bruno. Linda was born in South County and was the daughter of the late James D. and Helen J. (James) McMahon of East Greenwich.

She is survived by three children, Deborah E. Gellman and her husband Charles, Peter Bruno, Jr., and his wife Sherry, and Lisa M. Bruno; three sisters, Patricia Lindsay, Marcia O'Rourke, Barbara O'Rourke, and one brother, James McMahon, Jr. She also leaves four beloved grandchildren Joshua and William Gellman and Madison and MacKenzie Bruno as well as numerous extended family.

Linda dedicated her life to her family and friends and will be forever missed.

The funeral service takes place Monday at 10 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Calling hours are on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
