Obituary: Paul E.T. Drumm, Jr., 83
He felt he was privileged to be the owner and caretaker of Kenyon Cornmeal Company with his family since 1971.

Paul E.T. Drumm, Jr., 83 of Wickford passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late MaryEllen A. (Byron) Drumm for 56 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul E.T., Sr., and Sarah A. (Bailey) Drumm. He graduated from West Warwick High School in 1947. Mr. Drumm served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He felt he was privileged to be the owner and caretaker of Kenyon Cornmeal Company with his family since 1971. He represented Rhode Island at the Big E for many years.
Mr. Drumm enjoyed sailing out of Wickford and was a founding member of the Catboat Association; and organized Wickford's first Catboat Regatta. He also enjoyed woodworking and was a ham radio operator.
He liked everything old. He restored a 1907 Crosby Catboat and enjoyed working on his 1921 Model T Ford.
A member of the Chariho Rotary, he received the Paul Harris Fellow in 1982.
He leaves two children, Paul E.T. Drumm, III, and his former wife Loren Goodby of North Kingstown, and Susan M. Kennedy and her husband Bruce E. Kennedy of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Byron Kennedy of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Benjamin, Kevin and John Drumm all of Rhode Island.
His funeral will be held Saturday, December 21, at 7:30 a.m. from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Per Paul's wishes in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Kenyon Grist Mill Preservation Fund, P.O. Box 221, West Kingston, RI 02892, will be appreciated.
