Coventry Man Caught Soliciting Child For Sex In Portsmouth: Police
Portsmouth police say Jacob Garzarelli, 32, traveled from Fall River, Massachusetts, to Portsmouth to engage in sex acts with a child.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — A Coventry man was arrested Monday after Portsmouth police said he solicited a child for sex acts.
Jacob Garzarelli, 32, was charged with indecent solicitation of a minor, electronically disseminating indecent material to minors and possession of child pornography.
Police said Garzarelli was arrested after officers found him at a business on East Main Road in Portsmouth. According to police, Garzarelli traveled from Fall River, Massachusetts, to Portsmouth to engage in sexual activity with a child. Police said they seized a USB drive and a tablet and discovered files containing child pornography.

Garzarelli was arraigned in Second Division District Court. He was released on $5,000 surety bail. He is also not allowed unsupervised contact with people under age 16 and will have limited internet access.
