Football Schedule 2021: See Who Portsmouth High Faces This Fall

PORTSMOUTH, RI — High school football is back in Rhode Island this fall. Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the Portsmouth High School Patriots are back on the gridiron this fall.

The team's regular season begins Friday, with a home-opener against Somerset-Berkley Regional High School, ahead of the conference opener the following week. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. See the full Portsmouth football schedule below. Home games are italicized.

• Sept. 10: 7 p.m. vs Somerset-Berkley Regional High School (Non-league)
• Sept. 17: 6 p.m. at South Kingstown High School
• Sept. 24: 7 p.m. vs Central High School
• Oct. 1: 7 p.m. at Cranston East
• Oct. 9: 1:30 p.m. vs East Greenwich High School
• Oct. 15: 7 p.m. at North Kingstown High School
• Oct. 30: 3 p.m. at Bishop Hendricken High School
• Thanksgiving: 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, at Middletown High School
