PORTSMOUTH, RI — A Middletown man is facing charges after police said he molested a young child. Andrew Phy, 54, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first degree sexual assault.

According to Portsmouth police, the assault happened several years ago, when the child involved was 7 years old. No further details were provided.
