Portsmouth High School Boys' Track Finishes Undefeated For First Time
The Portsmouth Patriots went undefeated by winning their last regular season meet against Prout School and Chariho High School.
PORTSMOUTH, RI — The boys' indoor track team at Portsmouth High School made history Friday night by becoming the first undefeated regular season team in the team's 25-year existence.
The Patriots went undefeated by winning their last regular season meet against Prout School and Chariho High School. Portsmouth defeated Prout 81-28 and finished 71-38 against Chariho.
"Congratulations on an amazing and historical accomplishment,” head coach Shaun Horgan told his team in an email obtained by East Bay RI. "We had 27 personal bests last night — awesome to see."
