STATE OF RHODE ISLAND ENERGY FACILITY SITING BOARD

Open Meeting NoticePursuant to the provisions of the Rhode Island Open Meetings Act, R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-46-6(B), the public is hereby notified that the Energy Facility Siting Board (Board) will conduct an Open Meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., in Hearing Room A of the Public Utilities Commission Offices, 89 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick, Rhode Island. The Board will discuss and/or vote on the matters listed below. Because this Open Meeting is not a hearing, the Board will not be accepting oral public comments. The meeting will be streamed live at the following web address: https://video.ibm.com/channel/WqQyXw296dg. The Narragansett Electric Company filed a Notice of Intent Application on August 26, 2024, to rebuild the existing L14 and M 13 transmission lines located in the Towns of Tiverton and Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The Board will consider, deliberate and may rule on whether the proposed project constitutes an alteration of a major energy facility as defined by R.I. Gen.
