 ⏰ ARRIVAL TIME Our studio opens 30 minutes prior to class time. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to find parking, grab a drink, and get settled.
Please note: If you arrive late, the artist may not be able to fill you in on the steps you missed, as they will be focused on guiding the rest of the class. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we kindly ask that you do not join the session. Late arrivals can be disruptive and may not have enough time to complete the painting. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or reschedules for late arrivals.

Tilted Barn Brewery

Beginner workshops are perfect for you to grab your friends, grab a drink and come make tiny trees! We’re bringing the awesome art of bonsai out of the hedged in gardens and into the streets! Or at least into your favorite bars/breweries/pubs. Bonsai Bar is a night of fun you don’t want to miss. Learn the fundamental skills and techniques behind the art of bonsai while enjoying a night out with friends! Our teachers will introduce core concepts and guide your experience as you pot, prune, and design your very own bonsai tree! Our Guarantee: These tiny trees are so hardy we guarantee you can keep yours alive, or we’ll replace it.
This workshop will be hosted at Tilted Barn Brewery. Located in our authentic, New England-style post and beam barn, we are proud to be Rhode Island’s first farm brewery. A visit to Tilted Barn allows you to sit back and relax while off the beaten path, and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Our small batch, hand-crafted ales are best enjoyed fresh so be sure to make the trek early and often for a true farm-to-pint experience.
