ICE Agents Involved In Crash In Providence: Official

A utility pole was knocked down in the crash, the official said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — ICE agents were involved in a car crash in Providence Tuesday afternoon, an official said.

"Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving an officer and civilians around 12:45 p.m.," Providence Department of Public Safety Chief Public Information Officer Kristy dosReis said in an email.

"Upon arrival, it was determined that the individuals involved were federal agents with ICE," dosReis said.

Police officers remained on scene due to the crash knocking down a utility pole, dosReis said.
