Providence Bank Fraudster Surrenders: Cops
The Providence woman conspired and wrote fraudulent checks for more than $1,500, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman wanted on charges of bank fraud and conspiracy surrendered Sunday, police said.
Charnay Brown, 26, was arrested about 9:45 a.m. on charges of bank fraud, fraudulent checks over $1,500 and conspiracy, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Following her surrender, Brown was processed, arraigned and released with a pending Third Division District Court appearance, according to the release.
