Providence Kidnapper Wanted For Violating Probation Captured: Cops
The Providence man was arraigned as a fugitive from justice, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence kidnapper wanted for violating his probation was captured Tuesday, police said.
John Hammond, 49, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, the state police said in a media release.
Hammond was wanted as a fugitive from justice in Vermont for violating his probation from a kidnapping case, according to the release.
