Providence Thief Caught With Stolen Car: Cops
The Providence man was released after his arrest, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was caught with a stolen automobile, police said.
Juan Carlos De La Rosa Jose, 28, was apprehended Thursday and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of a motor vehicle with an altered vehicle identification number, obtaining more than $10,000 under false pretenses and forgery, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Jose was arrested by the Auto Theft, ACI Investigations and Intelligence Units, according to the release.

"Mr. Jose was transported to Headquarters, where he was processed, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future court date," the release said.
