Providence Woman With Drugs Failed In Bid To Elude Cops: Police
The Providence woman was arrested early Wednesday morning, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman with drugs was thwarted in an attempt to escape the long arm of the law, police said.
Sharinarae Dwyer was arrested shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday by troopers with the Rhode Island State Police Traffic Safety Unit from the Hope Valley, Lincoln, and Wickford barracks, the state police said in a media release.
Dwyer was charged with eluding law enforcement in a vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, according to the release

State police Lt. Col. Robert Creamer and the state police legal office failed to respond when asked for further information on Dwyer's arrest.
