Providence Woman Stole More Than $10K: Cops

The charges originated from the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, police said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman stole more than $10,000, police said.

Alice Lee, 62, was charged with obtaining money under false pretenses over $10,000, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit arrested Lee on a warrant Thursday, according to the release.

Lee was arraigned and released on her own recognizance, police said.
