Scituate Stabbing: 2 In Custody, Detained In Cranston
Cranston police detained a man and woman Tuesday afternoon shortly after Scituate police put out a BOLO for a Nissan Maxima.
This story has been updated. Timothy Ison, Jr., 19, of Johnston, is accused of stabbing a 49-year-old man in Scituate and fleeing with the victim's 18-year-old daughter.
SCITUATE, RI — A man and woman were detained by Cranston police Tuesday after police in Scituate alerted them of a sedan wanted in connection with a stabbing.
Around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Cranston police found the unoccupied Nissan Maxima on Waldron Street. The man and woman were walking nearby, said Col. Michael J. Winquist, the Cranston police chief. The two were taken into custody without incident and are now in the custody of the Scituate Police Department.
