Warwick Man Produced, Possessed Child Sexual Abuse Material: US Attorney

The Warwick man pleaded guilty in federal court, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Warwick man pleaded guilty in federal court to producing and possessing child sexual abuse material, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Jeremy Giguere, 38, pleaded guilty to four counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of prepubescent child pornography, according to a media release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

"According to court documents, in September 2024, the Rhode Island Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a report regarding disturbing CSAM videos uploaded to Giguere’s online photo storage account, linked to devices belonging to" him, the release said.

A state search warrant was executed at Giguere’s home in October 2024, according to the release.

"As a result of the search and through their investigation, almost five hundred CSAM videos and images were found on (Giguere’s) personal devices," the release said.
