Don't Toss Your Trash Yet: In observance of Victory Day on Aug. 12, curbside pick-up of trash and recycling in Smithfield will be delayed by one day. Town Hall is also closed on Monday.

New Trash System: Beginning next month, Smithfield residents will get new trash and recycling buckets as part of the town's new automated pick-up system. The intent is to increase recycling and reduce the cost of dumping trash at the Landfill in Johnston.
