Smithfield Police Detectives acting on complaints of drug activity staked out a home on Dean Avenue during the last several months, watching several drug deals occur there before arresting two teens July 25.
At 1:22 p.m. that day, Smithfield Police detectives arrested a 17-year-old, charging the youth with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver. During the arrest, officers and detectives seized 33.3 grams of marijuana.
Family Court Magistrate Armando O. Monaco III ordered the teen held overnight and brought to court in the morning.
Police also arrested Vincent J. Paolino, 18, of 8 Fourth St., Smithfield, who was at the home at the time, on an outstanding warrant.
