Pawtucket man wanted on assault in Smithfield caught in W. Warwick

At 2:09 p.m., Troopers arrested Favian Carpio, age 46, of 80 Nye Street, Pawtucket, RI on an Active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the original charge of Felony Assault originating from the Smithfield Police Department.

This arrest was the result of an investigation of suspicious activity on Washington Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later turned over to the custody of the Smithfield Police Department.

Wickford Barracks

N. Providence man arrested for failing to appear on suspended license

On Aug. 21, at 8:38 p.m., Troopers arrested Jerry Nicoleau, age 33, of 30 Belvedere Boulevard, North Providence Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment on the charge of Driving With a Suspended License, Certain Violations, originating out of the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of motor vehicle stop on Route 4 South, in the Town of East Greenwich. Nicoleau was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution's-Intake Center.
