If you were looking up in Smithfield at about 1 p.m. today, you might have been treated to a glimpse of a blue blimp flying overhead.
The blimp passed over Old County Road School and then the Smithfield Police Department before it continued flying parallel to Pleasant View Avenue and then turned toward points north.
