A former coffee shop turned raw bar and restaurant might just be offering the 'catch of the day.'
The Portsmouth Publick House, formerly Custom House Coffee, is offering free oysters with drink purchase every Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
The special offer started last Friday. Each customer will be limited to two per order, but customers may get back in line for more.
The Portsmouth Publick House recently completed renovations to become a full-serve restaurant and bar.
The restaurant is located at 600 Clock Tower Square, the corner of West Main Road and King Charles Drive in Portsmouth. The restaurant is co-owned by Tiverton resident George Doumaney.
