​ A rockslide has temporarily closed the on-ramp from Main Avenue in Tiverton to Route 24 northbound, RIDOT officials said.
Tiverton first responders found a gray 2014 Subaru Impreza​ had left the road, struck a tree, and was engulfed in flames.
RIDOT may have temporary single-lane alternating traffic patterns at the culvert leading up to the closure and for two weeks after it.
Tiverton police say the motorcyclist lost control on Route 24 northbound before leaving the right lane and crashing.
Flames from the pickup truck then spread to a small area of brush near the side of the road, Little Compton fire officials said.
When Little Compton firefighters arrived, they found an SUV rolled onto its side with wires resting on it.
