Snow And Freezing Rain To Make For Slippery Evening Commute

Monday evening's drive home could prove slippery as light snows and freezing rain are expected to last through early Tuesday.

It may be less than inch of snow cover, but local meteorologists warn Monday's light snows could make for slippery roads and a difficult evening commute.

A winter weather advisory will be in effect through 6 a.m. on Tuesday, as snows transition into sleet then light freezing rain after 5 p.m.

"The evening rush hour is expected to be messy," states a weather warning by the National Weather Service station in Taunton, MA.
