Fire and rescue crews say the workers’ fast actions and training directly contributed to his remarkable recovery, and the town council recognized them with formal citations.
   

4. Discover Newport announces six new board members as Gray takes helm (whatsupnewp.com) — Warren is one of nine coastal communities represented by Discover Newport, which just named Portsmouth business owner Matthew Gray as board chair and added six new directors. The tourism agency plans a new strategic vision focused on boosting off-season visits while protecting residents’ quality of life across towns like Warren, Bristol, and Newport.
