“The College Television Award nomination represents the culmination of all our hard work,” said Cooper. “Being nominated is an amazing opportunity to meet other talented filmmakers, become inspired by their works, and experience a prestigious industry event. This recognition lends credibility to our film and to our artists as we approach the professional level.”
“I decided to help our director Sai Lin make this film to celebrate aspects of Asian culture and cuisine through beautiful visuals and a compelling story,” said Cooper. “Beyond that, the film explores deeper themes of navigating family tradition and never letting go of your true passions. Through a captivating story about cooking, we wanted to uplift anyone who may be struggling with cultural expectations.”
