Drive-By Shooting At SC Graduation Party Kills 1, Injures 7: Sheriff
"At least 60-70 rounds" were fired at a graduation party in St. Paul, killing a woman. Several children were injured, says sheriff's office.

SOUTH CAROLINA — A shooting at a graduation party over the weekend left one dead and seven injured, according to the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office.
"At least 60-70 rounds" were fired shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday in the St. Paul community, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. Two cars approached the outdoor party, witnesses told authorities. One drove into the yard, the other stayed on the street. About 150 people were gathered, said the Clarendon County Sheriff's office.
The victims include a 12-year-old, a 14-year-old, two 15-year-olds, a 17-year-old, a 32-year-old and a 36-year-old. The 32-year-old woman died from her injuries Sunday morning, the sheriff's office said.

Officers said it’s unclear if the shots were meant to be targeted or random, but they believe the incident to be gang-related, according to the news release.
It is also unclear whether anyone attending the party returned fire, according to the release.
